CARAPACS®

An explosive attack to a cash machine causes devastation and collateral damage much higher than the value of the money contained inside. Branch closure, unhappy customers, structural damage to the building and furniture and image damage to the Bank. CARAPACS® is a patented passive defense system of the bank ATM which guarantees three results:

  • neutralize the shock wave due to the explosion;
  • eliminate the projection of debris and splinters inside the premises;
  • prevent access to money contained in the counter.

The experiments, conducted in the firing range have confirmed the characteristics and performances of CARAPACS® and have allowed to develop a protection system able to respond perfectly to the attack.

The installation of CARAPACS® is straightforward, does not require structural changes or complex changes on the bank ATM and can be completed in a few hours of work.
